Treadmills are basically &#8220;moving sidewalks&#8221; that allow the user to walk or run at their own desired pace indoors.</b></p>
<p>You can find treadmills in most gyms, or you can purchase your own and use it at home if you choose. Anyone can achieve great results by using a treadmill if they know how to use it properly. You can tone your muscles and get better lung function just by walking or jogging on a treadmill daily. Good treadmills allow you to adjust the speed and tension of the walk so you can adapt and increase the challenge as time goes on.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re just starting out with a treadmill workout, keep a log of your progress. You&#8217;ll be amazed at how quickly you can go from doing a mile or two in several minutes, to a mile or two in just a couple of quick minutes. A plus to using a treadmill is that you can continue to work out even in bad weather. If it&#8217;s raining or snowing outside, you can still work out indoors on the treadmill.</p>
